With a boy from far away.
Three days they were wandering,
On the fourth they arrived.
Rada climbed up
To the high porch
To see her mother,
Her mother and her father.
Rada couldn’t see her mother,
Her mother nor her father,
But she saw white doves,
White doves flying.
The doves said to Rada:
„Rada, white Rada!
As we were flying we saw
Your mother and your father.“
„Your papa was sitting
on the threshold of the hut,
And drinking red wine.
Your mother was sweeping the courtyard.
She was crying after you, Rada.“
„Rada, fair Rada,
He was drinking red wine…
Rada, fair Rada,
She was crying after you, Rada…“
